Director - Training
Job Description:
7hills Business Solutions has an opening for a Director of Training. The position is based out of Pittsburgh, PA and will require periodic travel. The Director of Training will oversee all phases of the training for customers, partners, and employees for the 7Hills suite of supply chain software products. Development of standard and custom training programs will be a priority. Typical training sessions will initially be conducted in person, but an internet based training program will also be a requirement. As the internet based training increases, the travel required with the position will be reduced. This position will also periodically provide internal support for demonstrations and other related tasks required to support 7Hills products, our customers, and partners. Long term focus will be on internet training, which will reduce travel over time.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop training programs and conduct classroom and small group training sessions to current and new customers
- Coordinate scheduling of training for 7Hills and customers (onsite and remote)
- Prepare and transmit training materials to clients in preparation of trainings
- Assist in adjusting or modifying training format on customer feedback and experience in the field
- Work with developers, project managers and sales personnel independently to obtain and stay current on software
- Maintain training records using company ERP system
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in providing software training on complex proprietary applications
- Expert level knowledge of software application training methodologies
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, superior interpersonal skills, and excellent presentation skills
- Excellent multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills required for successful achievement of position goals
- Capability to assimilate newly learned technical information quickly
- Ability to communicate openly and contribute in a team environment
- Strong time management and prioritization skills

Responsible for SDLC processes and provides technical leadership to Test team. Helps in creating test plans, designing, developing and executing tests for applications/products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- B.E/MCA/MBA (Systems) from a premier College/Institute
- 4-6+ Years of Experience in Software Testing and at least 1.5 years in Managerial position
- Experience in preparing Test Plans, Test Cases and Test reports
- Experience in Functionality, Regression, Load, Stress, Database and System testing
- Exposure to Automation Test Tools
- Strong experience in SDLC processes
- Experience with ISO9000, SEI CMM processes
- Strong Knowledge of SDLC & Configuration Management Tools like CVS, VSS
- CQA/CSQA certification is an added advantage
- Experience in Testing with Oracle, D2K, .NET applications
